Kayla Zimmerman is an attorney and native of North Vernon, Indiana. She graduated from Jennings County High School in 2010. She then went on to study political science at Franklin College, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in 2014. She then received her Juris Doctorate from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 2017. Kayla was admitted to practice in all Indiana Courts in October 2017.

Prior to returning to North Vernon to open her own practice, Kayla practiced a wide-variety of legal issues in several different counties in Indiana. She has experience in family law, criminal law, business formation, estate planning and administration, civil litigation, and medical malpractice defense to name a few. Kayla was named an Indiana Super Lawyer Rising Star in 2021, 2022, and 2023. She is now looking to use this experience to serve the people of Jennings County and Southeastern Indiana.
